An open fireplace with no doors is a hole in the side of your house eleven months of the year.
When there is no fire burning, an open masonry fireplace is a chimney sized vent letting conditioned air out of the house. A fitted door assembly closes it. That is the unglamorous reason to buy doors, and it is the one that shows up on a gas bill.

What the differences actually mean
Measured to your opening
Height, width and depth of the opening, plus the hearth extension. We take the measurements ourselves on anything we install so the frame sits flat against an old masonry face.
Finishes
Powder coats, plated finishes and textured blacks, with mesh or glass, bifold or cabinet style. Come look at samples against the light before you choose.
For a factory built fireplace
Prefab boxes need doors listed for that specific model. Bring the model number off the rating plate inside the firebox and we will match it.
We also service what is there
We service Heat n Glo, Heatilator and Quadra-Fire units, so if your existing door glass or gasket is the actual problem, say so and we will just fix it.
We sell it, install it, and come back.
